This self-paced online course is the second of two modules that deal with the structures of English verbs that influence the tone of a text.

- Know how to identify parallelism problems in the use of conditional structures
- Be able to identify the subjunctive mood and the structures that require it
- Know when to apply the subjunctive and when to choose a different structure

The first time you sign up for a module, you will need to register to become a student. There is no charge for this step.
Once you have registered, you will be given access to the online training environment. There, you can choose this or any other module from the available courses and complete payment for it online.
The next time you would like to sign up for a module, you can simply log in with your registration identification without having to re-register as a student.
You can start and stop the module as often as you need to. It includes a pre-test, quizzes for practicing each principle that is presented, and a post-test.
All of the tests and exercises are corrected within the online environment. You must pass the pre-test and post-test at 90% or higher to earn a printable course completion certificate. Both tests can be retaken to achieve the minimum score.
All modules include a glossary of terms and a list of resources.
